Canterbury Tales Occupation

I would be a doctor, if i lived in the Middle Ages. I would live in a decent house with three kids and my wife, although i would barely be home throughout the day. My house would most likely be somewhere in Europe, where my family and i could experience all four season. My work would consist of me going around help people with the diseases they have, as well as give people their last wishes before they die. There would hardly be any cures for the diseases back in the time period, so ninety-percent of the time, i would just bleed people out to help the disease "leave" their bodies. On daily basis i would have to face multiple challenges, such as being around diseased infected patients all day long which would cause me to be more likely to pick up diseases. Another huge challenge would have to be facing the families of the people who have died to tell them that their loved one(s) has passed away. My family and i would be a tight knit family, that would try to do things together and take vacations when we have the opportunity too. My kids would be raised like any kids in the middle ages, they would respect their elders and learn to be self-sufficient at an early age. Living in the Middle Ages would probably be somewhat difficult, the black plague and other diseases would play a huge impact on the community around me, and i would most likely not associate with people who i know are more susceptible to them.
